Jackie Fadda
"In order to move viewers of my art, I need to first capture their eyes"

A little about Jackie...

Born in England and raised in California, Jackie Fadda left the United States to further her literature studies in graduate school at the "Faculte de Lettres" in Aix-en-Provence, France. After completing her first year doctorate program in French Literature and a minor in Art History she pursued a teaching career at universities that took her to France, England, and California. Following several years of teaching Art History and French Literature, she returned to Aix-en-Provence to study drawing and work at an International University. In 1992, she finally decided to move to Corsica where she further explored her path towards oil painting. During her periodic stays in California and Europe, Jackie has encountered the infinite challenges in capturing light to portray an intimate connection between people and their environment.
